Barney Frank's frankness

The Twittersphere (follow me @fruhwirth) is on fire over Barney Frank's frankness. A lady who apparently opposes health care reform said at a recent town hall meeting that current proposals are Nazi-like in inspiration. Gee, I wonder where she got that idea?

Utah's 2nd Congressional District Rep. Jim Matheson, a blue-dog Democrat, has been holding telephone town hall meetings, which he and Sens. Bob Bennett and Orrin Hatch claim reach more people.
Can't they do both? While I'm a huge devotee to new technologies, it's quite satisfying and worthwhile to actually shake hands with your elected official. Plus, I became interested in politics from my parents who hauled me to political events when I was just a toddler. How do you get kids involved/excited about a telephone conference?
