Let's get the week off to a running start, shall we?---
If you're out and about this morning, you have a chance to make your mug famous. The Aha Moment Tour, which features a mobile TV studio traveling throughout the country gathering people's stories, is at the Gateway beginning at 11 a.m. If your "Aha!" story is good enough, it could end up in a Mutual of Omaha commercial.
If you're a Motown fiend—and if you aren't, you should be!—the divine Miss Diana Ross is headlining a gig at the EnergySolutions Arena Monday night. Expect some old Supremes faves, some stellar solo hits and the largest gathering of SLC's gay community at a concert since Lady Gaga hit town.
The other musical highlight of the night is The Pack AD (pictured), a garage-rockin' Canadian duo touring in support of their fourth album, Unpersons. They're playing the Urban Lounge Monday night, along with Albino Father, Fox Van Cleef and The Pillar.
Egyptian poet Eman Mersal is doing a reading Monday at Westminster College. She's published four books of poetry in Arabic, and now some of those verses have been translated into English. The reading is free, and at 7 p.m. at the Gore Concert Hall.
