Jessica Eats!

I'm not really sure who Jessica Simpson is, or why anyone would care where she eats. But the PR folks from Thaifoon (the same people who own & operate Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and Romano's Macaroni Grill) want you to know that she supped at Thaifoon in the Gateway prior to her Salt Lake City concert last Thursday.
Here's the scoop, for anyone who cares: "Singer Jessica Simpson was spotted yesterday (Thursday, February 26) having a late lunch at restaurateur Randy Schoch’s Thaifoon Taste of Asia restaurant at The Gateway outdoor shopping mall in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. Simpson, accompanied by her body guard and three female companions, entered the restaurant around 2:30 p.m. and quietly lunched for about an hour and a half on Crispy Crab Wontons, Long Life Chicken & Rice Soup and a Kirin Ichiban Beer each. Casually dressed in a baseball cap, jeans and a coat, Simpson was just hours away from opening the show for the popular band Rascal Flatts, scheduled to perform that night at Energy Solutions Arena at 8:00 p.m. Upon her departure, Simpson thanked Thaifoon General Manager, Nik Wright, stating she enjoyed her meal. She particularly enjoyed the Long Life Chicken & Rice Soup, sending staff back to Thaifoon later that day for a take-out order of the soup."
