Hump Day Haps

Up - or is it down - in Provo, Ryan Bingham and the Dead Horses take up residency at Velour. This all-ages event is a doozy! Bingham got his hands plenty dirty before laying down tracks for his debut album. Some folks think "Southside of Heaven" is cheesy, but I can hear the hard-earned soul dripping from his voice and I'm sold.
For something a little, OK, a lot louder, hit up In the Venue for Mogwai and opening buzzworthy act Women, Canadians with ties to Chad Vangaalen! Great noise. Great times.
And for the cool kids, Oh Snap! infiltrates W Lounge for some of that Scenster Siege-certified dance party action. I bet City Weekly classifieds ace Christopher Westergard will be up in that mother. Ask him to boogie with you. He's super nice. And fancy!
