Will this woman ever go away? Thanks to David Letterman and a very bad "Top Ten" list.....NO!
We can all agree that his joke about Palin's daughter getting knocked up by A. Rod at a Yankees game was bad but the reaction by Palin was so far over the top as to blame Letterman for all statutory rapes past, present and future is a bit much. Letterman made amends of sorts saying that he told a bad joke and at no time intended to disparage Palin's 14-year-old daughter Willow even though she was with her mom at the baseball game. Letterman was refering to Bristol Palin who we all know got knocked up by her boyfriend before Palin was picked to be John McCain's running mate in 2008.
This might have faded away but thanks to Matt Lauer interviewing Palin on the Today Show he gave her a stage to go off the cliff on Letterman painting Letterman to be the most scary pervert on earth to the point she implied that she would be afraid to have her 14-year-old Willow within gropeing distance of Letterman when Matt asked Sarah if she would appear on his show. To continue to milk this Palin went on to use the occasion to bash Obama about how Obama said that kids are off limits when campaign retoric was being flung around like a mud bog. For starters neither of Obama's daughters have ever been pregnant out of wedlock and when the Bush twins went clubbing and used fake I. D.'s they were the butt of jokes too. Hey it was funny and after that they learned to not do that again and stay away from the public eye to their and their parents credit.
Republicans want to know why people snicker at the thought of the GOP when the majority of Americans list as the leaders of the party a toss up between Newt Gingrich and Rush Limbaugh? Palin is not even on that list and I think she is going for it using this Letterman feud to fuel her profile. You go girl!!! Opps, did I cross the line by calling her girl?
