MTV wants you to come watch a jerk get his ass handed to him by a professional fighter -- for free. Wanna go? ---
MTV's Bully Beatdown may be the greatest TV show concept ever for the recovering nerd. Survivor and The Apprentice impressario Mark Burnett came up witht he idea of tracking down people who have been harrassed by bullies, then daring the bully to get in the ring with a mixed martial arts pro. Bully wins the 3-round bout? They're $10,000 richer. They get their deserving butts whipped? The cash goes to their bullying victims.
You can be part of the crowd whipped into a frenzy by the prospect of seeing justice served. Bully Beatdown will be shooting live in Salt Lake City next week -- at a converted warehouse at the corner of 700 South and 400 West -- and you can be part of the crowd on one of the shooting days for free. Tickets are still available for tapings Monday, Aug. 3 - Wednesday, Aug. 5. Just head here and claim your ducats.
Please note: MTV wants attendees who "appear to be between the ages of 18 and 25." So either be young, or look young.
