Eek! The Cat (File Under Random Nostalgia)

For some reason, Eek! the Cat popped up today as a topic of conversation among some of us edit folk. Multi-tasking tends to bring out the random pop culture memories of our youth.--- After some research, I realized just how zany this show was for its target demographic. Of course it was created by Canadians. No way this material would make it onto today's Saturday Morning Cartoon programming (think of the children!). Sure, there's Yo Gabba Gabba now, but that's cable. If aired today, Eek would most likely run on Adult Swim. I'm so thankful to have been corrupted at such an early age.
