Salt Lake Acting Company has concluded a nationwide search by naming Jason Bruffy -- most recently of Cincinnati's Know Theatre -- as its new Executive Artistic Director. ---

The New Jersey native founded the Fringe Festival in Cincinnati, and was recently named Person of the Year by Cincinnati's alt-weekly, Cincinnati CityBeat. Bruffy heads to Salt Lake City after five years as Artistic Director for Know Theatre. He'll begin duties in mid-September, right around the time SLAC fires up its new season with a production of Harold Pinter's The Caretaker opening Sept. 16.
