Dallin Oaks Shall Overcome ... Someday

The LDS Church did face persecution -- like, a century or so ago -- but you can only ride that pony for so long.
Even gay activists have learned it doesn't pay to compare the LGBT movement to the black civil-rights movement.
But, when you're a high-ranking member of an organization that fervently works to withhold rights from a minority, how deluded do you have to be to think you're the victim?
Nobody -- not even you, Elder Oaks -- has a constitutional right to avoid criticism. Get over yourself.
