Rachael Yamagata Opening for Swell Season

Talented pianist/guitarist Rachael Yamagata will accompany Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova in Salt Lake City for their Nov. 28 appearance at the Rose Wagner Center (a show that, despite the rumors, isn't sold out ... yet). As if you needed further incentive to catch these vibrant performers live, the show will be all-ages and serve booze! What a crazy world we're livin' in!---
The Swell Season's new album, Strict Joy, reflects on the duo's two-year romance and its eventual demise. As with their debut, it maintains a steady loud-quiet-loud flow brimming with passion. Here's a sample:
