Jason: Not so fast

I know that this is the season to be filled with holiday cheer and yadda, yadda, yadda. But, Jason's Deli has put some Scrooge in me. Generally speaking, I suppose you could consider me a fan of Jason's Deli. Today however, not so much. ---
I stopped by for a sandwich at the Gateway Mall location, hoping to grab a quick lunch and do a little Christmas shopping. Well, I got in line at Jason's counter to place my lunch order at 12:52 PM and didn't have food in front of me -- a corned beef & Swiss sandwich -- until 1:18 PM -- a wait of 26 minutes. I could have sat down and ordered lunch at Metropolitan and it probably would've been quicker, and not much more expensive.
You would THINK -- this being the holiday shopping season with oodles of extra folks milling around the Gateway -- that Jason's Deli might have more than one person taking customers' orders at the counter ... but you'd be wrong. If you've got time to kill, Jason's Deli is a good place to do it.
