Climate Change Rally and Scream-In!

Local enviro-activists will be holding a Scream-In protest against the lame duck Copenhagen Climate talks. Recently considered a “victory” by the Obama administration, local activists are rallying against what they see as another toothless measure on climate change.---
“All our hopes for a livable future were pinned on Copenhagen producing a binding agreement to curb emissions,” writes event organizer Clea Major in a recent press release “Then our world leaders have failed to meet even our lowest expectations of the summit.”
So show up, and keep the rage going. Dec. 30, 5:30 p.m. at the northwest corner 400 w. 200 South.
