NBC's Thursday Valentine to You: No Jay Leno

All those previous TV Blog posts about how awesome NBC Thursday nights would be if Jay Leno didn't arrive at 9 and fuck everything up? Forget 'em: Happy pre-Valentine's Day! ---

Yes, since NBC put down that Jay Leno Show dog on Tuesday (you and most of America "missed" the finale), Thursday primetime is now funny all the way through--well, for this week only. The snow-free Vancouver Winter Olympics take over the Peacock Friday, so no episodes of anything non-curling will air until March, and when Comedy Thursday returns on March 4, Jerry Seinfeld's maybe-funny-but-who-knows? The Marriage Ref will bat clean-up at 9 after Community, Parks & Recreation, The Office and 30 Rock.

Until then, we have tonight: Back-to-back-to-back-to-back Valentine's episodes from the Funny 4. On Parks & Rec, you get guest star John Larroquette and the return of Andy's band, Scarecrow Boat (!). The Office welcomes their new Sabre owner (Kathy Bates), who asks the same thing we've all been wondering: Why the hell do you have two managers? On 30 Rock, Jack falls for a hot new CNBC host (Elizabeth Banks) and Jenna attempts to woo back her stalker.

But, the night kicks off with what's become NBC Thursday's MVP, Community: Get ready to meet the creepiest Valentine mascot ever, the already-creepy Greendale Human Being as a horribly-wrong Cupid ...
