The Depot should host more local shows---. Saturday night's City Weekly Music Awards wrapped up with a closing party at the Gateway-bound venue with performances by Bird Eater, The Naked Eyes and Paul Jacobsen & Madison Arm.
Last Friday night, heading home from work after a long day trying to get my cover feature for this week ready, I stopped off at a store in Sandy for some supplies. As I came out, I saw a young man in a national pizza chain uniform march out of his place of employment, one hand on his stomach.---
One week from tonight, Jay Leno returns as the host of NBC's Tonight Show and that whole Conan clusterfuck is forgotten and forgiven ... right? Not for the Team Coco members who edited a certain Radiohead tune into Leno's cheesy ads for his "comeback." After all these years of having this tune beaten into our heads by "alternative classic" radio stations, didn't think it would ever sound this good again ...
