When you haven't been looking, your friends and neighbors have been making short films. Care to see what they've been up to? ---

The Tower Theatre presents one of its regular Open Mic nights tomorrow (Wednesday, March 17), starting at 9 p.m. Filmmakers are invited to bring their DVD efforts and a $5 submission fee to the theater by 6 p.m., or contact David Fetzer (david.fetzer@gmail.com); attendees and well-wishers are invited to bring a suggested $1 donation for the pleasure of watching them all. Or wear green and get in free.

This time around, I will be on hand as the event's guest judge, to help select an entry that will become part of the year-end "Best of Open Mic" presentation. Come say hello and mention this blog posting, and maybe I'll have some free stuff. As if the experience of watching the films themselves will not be enough of a treasure to take away.
