Public bars = DUI? NOT!

Remember all the brouhaha and outcry over ending private clubs in Utah last summer - how viscious drunks would be rampant in the streets and on Utah's roadways? --- Civilization, as we know it, was supposed to come crashing to an end with the opening of private clubs to the out-of-control public.
Well, it didn't happen. In fact, according to a new Utah Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice report, Utah police and highway patrol made approximately 400 FEWER DUI arrests the year after Utah eliminated private clubs, as compared to the previous year. Yet another case of unwarranted hysteria in Zion.
