Got your costume ready? I hope it's able to withstand three days of festivities, including dancing, strolling and beer-soaking, 'cause there's a shit-ton going on. Check it.---

FRIDAY

Tonight is Fashion Stroll in SLC, and it's a special Monster Mash edition, so a costume would be entirely appropriate, for both you AND the fashionistas who will be showing off their wares. And if you're in Ogden Friday night, it's the first-ever Zombie Crawl, so put on your best undead gear and hit Brewski's, where you can find City Weekly's own Bill Frost rocking out with his two-man wrecking crew, Spork, along with Thunderfist and Werewolf Afro.

Also Friday, former Provo cats Eyes Lips Eyes headline at Velour, and the killer double-bill of The Thermals and Elf Power take over The Urban Lounge; check out our profile of The Thermals right here.

SATURDAY

The oh-so-dreamy Azure Ray headline at The State Room Saturday, their first trip to Utah in ages. Burt's Tiki Lounge has the Halloween-appropriate sounds of Die Monster Die on tap, while Senses Fail and Bayside take over In The Venue.

For something a little more family-friendly, consider the Gallivan Center's Halloween block party from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. And if you want a taste of the Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert "Restore Sanity" rally going down in D.C., hit the SLC version at the SLC Main Library at 10 a.m.

SUNDAY

It's sorta slim pickins for the REAL Halloween, so thank goodness for the Piper Down's Costume Karaoke contest, and for the Ted Dancin' dance party that will be going down at The Urban Lounge. So get that soiled, stinky costume on one more time and get out there!
