Why don't they learn English? Because you won't teach them.

I get really angry when I hear the lie that immigrants don't want to learn English. At the school where I tutor English, there's a lengthy waiting list for students to enroll and never a waiting list for English speakers to begin helping immediately.---

Not that most Utahns believe in this crazy “climate change” hysteria, but in a recent book, UCLA economist Matthew Kahn rates Salt Lake City as the city most resilient to climate change.--- Which is good news for the local pols here since most Utahns believe climate change refers to the difference between ski season and boating season.

Fact Check: Lee said 40 percent

Sam Granato, the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate seat, calls Mike Lee's 40 percent budget cuts "irresponsible."--- In a statement released yesterday, Granato responded to the blog I posted Friday, reporting that Mike Lee suggested 40 percent cuts to the federal budget.

The second Jónsi took the stage, an eerie silence fell over the crowd of 2,000 gathered at the Complex. People held their breath as if they were afraid to miss the first string of notes sung, which rang out and reverberated off the walls with ethereal clarity.---
