Start off on the good foot this week with some wild musical antics or chill out with other quality options.---
We're trying to recover from a wild and wonderful weekend in the Lounge today, but we certainly aren't relaxing.

Tonight's must see comes all the way from Portland, Oreg. with a caravan of 20-plus musicians, stilters and dancers. The March Fourth Marching Band are long-time Burners—if that gives you any indication of their M.O.—and won 2009's Battle of the Marching Bands at Center Camp. If you missed the veritable circus last night with Yard Dogs Road Show (the two bands are friends) or if you can't get enough of the freakness, head down the The State Room at 8 p.m. tonight.

On a more mellow note, guitarist Frank Vignola will pick Django Reinhardt's Gypsy-jazz numbers tonight for Jazz at the Sheraton. Read the City Weekly interview here. The GAM Foundation's second performance of the season should surely be mind-blowing. And, don't forget your dancing shoes because there's two floors on either side of the stage at every Sheraton concert. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Or, get your blues on while chowing down on Salt Lake finest BBQ. Candye Kane will perform her big, ol' soulful sound at Pat's BBQ tonight at 7 p.m.
Finally, get a load of free theater tonight with Salt Lake Acting Company's New Play Sounding Series, featuring Peter Sinn Nachtrieb's T.I.C.. Nachtrieb also wrote SLAC's last performance boom. Read more about the play on his blog. Not only is the reading free, but the series gives theatre-fans a glimpse into the creative process of playwrights. The mostly-finished work-in-progress is read to benefit the playwright in seeing how it is brought to life, while audiences get to participate in an after-reading feedback session and address their opinions.
If you can't make it out tonight, fret not. Looking out, there's no shortage of quality music in the
week to come to keep you busy and hungover.
