Christmas Pole Recital

Seinfeld's "Festivus" put a pole at the center of an alternative holiday celebration. I'm not sure this is what they had in mind, but it sure is a unique way to make merry. ---
This Sunday, Dec. 5, brings us the 3rd Annual Recital from the pole-dance-for-fitness professionals at Studio Soiree, allowing teachers and students -- some performing in front of an audience for the first time ever -- to slink around a little vertical metal. Chastitie Lujan, NW Pole Fit Champion, is scheduled to join the local talent as special guest headliner.
The festivities begin at Trails at 7 p.m., with a $15 admission; your "tips" for the dancers are your own concern.
