TV Tonight: HIMYM, Garfield, Marry Me, Swamp Men

What’s new tonight:
How I Met Your Mother (CBS) Marshall and Lily receive some shocking preggers news—well, CBS says it’s shocking, so probably not at all. Meanwhile, Robin lands a new job. Don’t know what it is, but Jeopardy’s Alex Trebek guests as himself in this episode, so maybe she’s the new Vanna White. No, wait—that’s Wheel of Fortune. Also, Barney learns the true meaning of Christmas, as required by TV law.
Garfield: Home For the Holidays (Cartoon Network) Didn’t know they still made Garfield shows, but here’s a brand-new one, wherein the fat tabby—here we go again—learns the true meaning of Christmas. Me, I still prefer Garfield Minus Garfield.
Marry Me (Lifetime) Movie, Part 2 of 2: Isn’t Lucy Liu a bit elderly to be starring in a romantic comedy about finding her “Prince Charming”? Sure, maybe this would fly on the Hallmark Channel, but Lifetime? At least no one’s learning the true meaning of Christmas or anything.
Swamp Men (Nat Geo Wild) Series Debut: Because the world was clamoring for another reality show wherein rednecks ‘rassle alligators, here’s Swamp Men, about a Florida safari company that gives tours in gator-infested swamplands. So Nat Geo Wild replaced the failing Fox Reality Channel to air … more reality shows? Got it.
