There are a plethora of great dining options for New Year's Eve this year. The tempting New Year's Eve menus I've seen include Bambara, Blue Boar Inn, Fleming's, Franck's, --- Frida Bistro, Grand America, Log Haven, Lugano, The New Yorker, Pago, The Paris Bistro, Spruce, Tin Angel Cafe and Tuscany.
Everybody puts out lists of hated terminology this time of year, when there's not much else to write about except self-indulgent pet peeves. So, for what it's worth, here are some words and phrases I'd like to ban in 2011:---
Almost happening in waves, local music finding its way onto commercial radio tends to come and go with every station that makes an effort. Talent come up with the idea, musicians submit, they go a few months and then things go awry and the show is done before it ever reached the one-year marker.
