Lego My Oscars

Oh Lego building blocks, is there anything you can't do? Including representing the 2011 Academy Awards nominees for Best Picture? ---

It originally appeared during Sundance, but some of us are only just now catching up: Popular blog Gawker ran a series of images created by an anonymous apparent connoisseur of both Legos and movies, with too many Legos and too much time on her or his hands. Some of the images are iconic from their respective films: the tilted hallway battle from Inception, King George at the microphone in The King's Speech, the toys peeking out of a box from Toy Story 3. Others may require a bit more contemplation. But they're all terrifically realized; like some of the commenters, I'm particularly fond of the 127 Hours tableau.
