Five Fast & Furious Food Trucks

Troves of four-wheeled food purveyors will take over Salt Lake City for filming of The Great Food Truck Race Season 2 on Saturday and Sunday, April 30 and May 1. That means lots of new delicious fare to be had, so long as you know where to find it.---

Ethington Answers Early-morning Callers on "Radio From Hell"

X96's Radio From Hell program recently broadcast a call-in segment "Ask a Gay Rights Activist" featuring Eric Ethington. The show aired April 28 in the 8 a.m. slot.

Rally against nukes this weekend!

Thirty years ago the MX Missiles Program’s installation in the Great Basin was defeated by local activists, now the next generation is continuing the fight to end nuclear weapons proliferation.---This Saturday you can join a march and rally put on by the good peace-niks of the Utah Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (UCAN), to celebrate the victory over the MX deployment as well as the 15 year anniversary of the signing of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty by President Bill Clinton.Show up, this Saturday, April 30 at 12 p.m. at the Unitarian Church at 569 S. 1300 East to take part in the 5k peace walk. The rally with speakers will be held at 3 p.m. at Washington Square, 451 S. State.

Royal wedding blues

While I will not be one of the millions who wake up at some ungodly hour after midnight tonight to watch the royal wedding, my slumbering thoughts, as a humble Brit, will no doubt be with the merry couple as they parade towards their nuptials.--- I will probably record the wedding and watch it with my children Saturday morning over egg and soldiers.

Teen Wolf: The ‘Dark’ MTV Remake

On one hand, MTV deserves some credit for at least producing an original scripted series instead of cranking out more zero-denominator reality crap. On the other paw … it’s Teen Wolf, fergawdsakes!
