Lounge Act Tuesday: A Marley, KT Tunstall and Young Frankenstein

Young Frankenstein is a comedy classic, easily one of the high points of Mel Brooks' career. But will the stage musical hold the same magic? Walk this way.---

The opening of Young Frankenstein at the Capitol Theater is just one of the highlights of a busy Tuesday night. And chances are it will be good, even if the show hasn't gotten quite the same hype as The Producers, one of Brooks' other flicks-turned-stage musicals.

The Depot is hosting a member of reggae's royal family Tuesday night, as Stephen Marley (pictured) headlines a gig sure to blend the modern sounds of Jamaica with his dad's traditional vibes.

Over at The State Room, the KT Tunstall show is officially "sold out," but that just means you need to hit up the Internet for tix, or show up early and hope for the best. The Scottish singer is touring solo for the first time ever, so it should be a worthy gig for the fans who packed Red Butte a couple summers ago to get the full-band treatment.
