A powerhouse folk-music show is among Tuesday night's highlights.---

Westminster College is hosting a folk lover's dream concert Tuesday night, with a slew of talent on hand to sing the songs of Utah Phillips, led by his long-time compatriot Rosalie Sorrels. Also on board for the festivities are Kate MacLeod, Mike Iverson, Doug Wintch, Carla and Dave Eskelson and Anke Summerhill. The show starts at 7 p.m.; $10 if you bring some non-perishable food item, $15 without.%uFFFD

Also on the music tip, the maniacal Captured! By Robots (pictured) headlines at The Urban Lounge,%uFFFD while Bar Deluxe hosts a night sure to get your booty moving, courtesy of Cannons & Clouds, Tolchok Trio and Night Sweats.

The King's English plays host to author Patti Digh, who will read from and sign copies of her latest book, What I Wish for You: Simple Wisdom for a Happy Life. Talk about your perfect gifts for a recent graduate of any age.
