Lounge Act Wednesday: David Bazan, KRCL Night Out and more

And just like that, it's June, it's sunny, it's borderline-hot. Let's hit the ground running this month, mmmkay?---
You can start Wednesday night, with the arrival of the oh-so-talented singer/songwriter David Bazan, who is rocking out this days under his own name after years performing with a more low-key vibe as Pedro the Lion. His show tonight at Kilby Court should be a treat.
Over at In The Venue, the Airborne Toxic Event brings its epic rock moves to town for a show at 6:30 p.m.
KRCL is hosting its monthly Night Out Wednesday at Keys on Main, where from 5:30 to 7:30 you can mingle with a constellation of radio stars--look for Bad Brad, he's the tallest of them all--and get some great deals on drinks and grub.
And if you feel like something a little quieter, more contemplative, the SLCC Community Writing Center is hosting a seminar on Travel Writing: Sharing Your Journey, from 6 to 8 p.m. It's a two-part workshop that continues next week, and it's just $30 to register.
