Geese on I-15

Last night as I was heading home from a downtown interview at 7.30 p.m., I saw two cars pulled over on the up-ramp from California Avenue/13th East. If that was you, I'd like to hear from you.
Between the two cars were five majestic geese walking across the tarmac. What happened next? Did the obviously concerned drivers call law enforcement? Did they shepherd the geese to safety?
On several morning commutes from the south end of the valley to downtown I've encountered the broken corpses of geese and other large birds who have landed on I-15 only to be run over. But I've never witnessed so many birds all gathered together on the interstate.
