Looking for something a little different this Independence Day? How about pancakes and skiing at Snowbird? --- On July 4th Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort will celebrate with a pancake breakfast, live music, skiing and summer activities.
An all-you-can-eat breakfast will be served from 9 a.m. to noon and will cost $10.95 for adults ($17.95 with a Tram ride), $7.50 for kids 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and under. In addition to pancakes, the breakfast will include scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee, tea, juice and more.
Skiing from the Snowbird Tram will be available and limited edition "I skiied the Bird on July 4th" T-shirts will be on sale.
Live music on the Plaza Deck will be provided by the C.J. Santoro Dixieland Band during breakfast, and The Quick and Easy Boys will play from 1 to 3 p.m.
Snowbird's summer activities include the ZipRider, Bungy Tramploline, Climbing Wall, Ropes Courses, Alpine Slide, Air Jumper, Mechanical Bull and Kids' Inflatables.
"Whether you want to ski on the upper mountain, or enjoy summer activities and listen to live music at the village, the forecast looks fantastic for a special holiday weekend at Snowbird," said Snowbird President Bob Bonar.
Snowbird is also offering special holiday packages starting at $65 per person, double occupancy.
This year, on July 4th, Snowbird will break its own longest season record with 202 days of skiing.%uFFFD
