The CARE Fair is a two-day event in July that’s looking for volunteers to help low-income and disadvantaged families obtain basic, but crucial medical assistance. If you can bear to care, sign up now before July 1.---

The Junior League of Salt Lake City is a charitable organization looking for volunteers to help cover three-hour shifts at the upcoming fair, July 15-16.

The fair will bring together community medical organizations offering numerous services for free. Participants who arrive can get free physicals, hearing and vision screenings, breast exams, cholesterol tests and HIV tests among other services. The CARE Fair will bring the charitable goodwill of roughly 50 different community agencies together, but they still need people who care to volunteer for simple tasks such coordinating patient assistance to doing Spanish translation for non-English speakers.

You can make a difference, but the Junior League is hoping to get commitments from volunteers by this Friday, July 1, so they can plan appropriately. If you’re interested in volunteering check out the League’s Website or call 801-355-1868.
