A bevy of options for your consideration on Thursday night.---

It's the second Twilight Concert Series show of the year, of course, and it might turn out to be the biggest of the year, too, thanks to the presence of headliner The Decemberists, whose latest album, The King is Dead, debuted at No. 1 earlier this year. Be sure to get to Pioneer Park on time to catch opener Typhoon (pictured), another hot Portland band. Read our story about Typhoon, then scurry down to the park by 7 p.m.

The King's English is hosting author David Roberts, who wrote Finding Everett Ruess about his own efforts to find the lost explorer in the wildlands around Escalante back in the '30s.

Gardens & Villa and The Generationals are playing Kilby Court Thursday night, while Brewvies is hosting a free screening of the original Jaws—always a treat. And you can find the City Weekly Street Team at Brewvies, too, for free viewings of Wilfred and Louie.
