The 1987 PBS American Experience miniseries Eyes on the Prize covered 11 crucial years (1954 - 1965) in the struggle for African American civil rights. The Salt Lake Film Society and the Center for Documentary Expression and Art co-present episodes #3 ("Ain't Scared of Your Jails 1960-1961") and #5 ("Mississippi: Is This America? 1962-1964") from the series tonight at 7 p.m., in a free screening to be followed by a panel discussion. Also scheduled to attend are Eyes on the Prize producer Judy Richardson, and director Jon Else, for a special Q&A session.
