Utah Arts? There's an app for that

Smartphone users who also happen to be fans of the Utah arts scene now have a simple way to search for performances and purchase tickets. ---

TicketTrove is a brand-new iPhone application, created by Arts Management Systems, that finds venues and events based on your location. Potential patrons can explore dates, determine ticket availability, access organizations' Websites, instantly call ticket offices or purchase tickets directly online.

Currently, seven Utah arts organizations are participating in TicketTrove locally: Desert Star Theatre, Salt Lake Community College's Grand Theatre, Kingsbury Hall, Park City Performing Arts Foundation, Pioneer Theatre Company, Red Butte Garden and Salt Lake Acting Company. Other organizations may be added at a later time.
