Rolling into the weekend, there are quite a few worthwhile options for your entertainment dollar.---

Start at Wiseguys Comedy Cafe at Trolley Square, where Bengt Washburn (pictured) is headlining a gig that will undoubtedly include some jabs at his own Mormon faith, as well as the tried-and-true subjects of marriage and family. You might have seen him on Comedy Central, now you can see him in your own backyard.

At the Rose Wagner Center, the Utah Film Center and KUER jointly host filmmaker Frederick Wiseman for a master class in his piercing documentary style. The man behind Titticut Follies will show clips from his films, take questions and, hopefully, give a sneak peek at his newest work, a behind-the-scenes doc about a French cabaret, the Crazy Horse. It starts at 7 p.m.

On the music tip, you can check out The Pretty Darns, Turbophonic and The Lucky Crickets at The Urban Lounge, Clarksdale Ghosts and Daisy & the Moonshines at Burt's Tiki Lounge, or Mister Richter, Demented Asylum and Castle Axe at Kilby Court. How will you ever choose?
