Only a few days remain before the Academy Awards ceremony. Where can you catch up with the nominees? ---

Among the nominees in the major categories, several are already available for rental on DVD, including Best Picture hopefuls Moneyball, Midnight in Paris, The Tree of Life and The Help. Several nominated performances are similarly available on DVD, including Best Actor nominee Demian Bichir (A Better Life), Best Supporting Actress nominee Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids) and Best Supporting Actor favorite Christopher Plummer (Beginners).

You'll need to look to theaters for several other major nominees. At multiplexes, you'll find honored titles including War Horse and Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close. Brewvies features The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and its nominee, Rooney Mara. And the Broadway Centre Cinemas is bursting at the seams with Oscar nominees: Best Picture nominees The Artist and The Descendants; acting nominees Glenn Close and Janet McTeer (Albert Nobbs), Meryl Streep (The Iron Lady) and Gary Oldman (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy); documentary nominee Pina; and the short-film nominees in documentary, animated and live-action categories. Caught somewhere between, out of most theaters but not yet available on DVD: Hugo, and acting nominees Michelle Williams and Kenneth Branagh in My Week With Marilyn.

If you really want to be as complete as possible, look to the Broadway and Tower Theatre again this weekend, when two Best Foreign Language Film nominees open: A Separation (Iran) and Bullhead (Belgium).
