River Rats Wanted at SLC Workshop

Wednesday evening, city planners will be holding a workshop on improvement projects along Salt Lake City rivers and creeks. If you've got a passion for creeks like Emigration and Red Butte or have ideas on how to spruce up trails and recreation areas along the Jordan River, now is your chance to plan the future for local river-corridor improvement projects.---
If you've got an opinion on how to improve the city’s waterways -- whether that means setting a plan for preserving open space or discussing native species to plant alongside inner city portions of City Creek, Emigration, Red Butte, Parley’s and others -- then you won’t want to miss this public workshop.
