For the third year, X96's Radio From Hell brings us a short film festival with a few funky twists. ---

Tonight at the Tower Theatre at 7 p.m., the 2012 X96 Radio From Hell Film Festival screens entries by local short-filmmakers who are willing to bend their creativity to a couple of specific demands. Every entry must include a specific line of dialogue -- in this case, "Save the Soil!" A ceiling fan visible at some point during the film is also a pre-requisite, and the films must be between 3 and 5 minutes in length.

To see the typically bizarre results of this unique competition -- and learn the winner, who has been invited in previous years to participate in the Utah Arts Festival's Fear No Film Utah Short Film of the Year competition -- admission is $10. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
