Dear GYA, Lately, I’ve been on an epic rampage of laziness. For example, yesterday I spilt some Tang on the floor and I decided to let time clean it up. Plus, I ran out of toilet paper so I ordered delivery with extra napkins. I wanna turn my life around and seize the day… but I don’t wanna go to your events page and look anything up. Any ideas? - Frank, the foul bachelor, Taylorsville---

Frank, I suppose you’re sorta lazy ... I’ve seen lazier. Luckily for you, there’s plenty of stuff going on today that involves sitting down. For starters, head over to the Salt Lake Acting Company’s presentation of The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs at 7 p.m. It’s a three-character show directed by Alexandra Harbold that will more than likely keep you out of those iPod-release campouts. Not that you would ever do that anyway.

If theater ain’t your thing, then summon your inner-Jerry Sloan and go yell at the Jazz as they take on the Detroit Pistons. The game starts at 7 p.m., and if you plan ahead you can still grab some of those $8 upper-bowl tickets.

After that, I would go see the 2012 CWMA band of the year Max Pain & The Groovies over at Urban Lounge. They’re a crowd favorite and they’re performing with the Shrine and Howlin’ Rain. Tickets are only $8 at the door. If you show up early, you can find a seat. Otherwise, you may have to use your legs at this one.

Other events that involve plenty of sitting:

-Pub Quiz night at The Republican

- Utah Opera's Elixir of Love at the Capitol Theatre

- Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Terrace Plaza Playhouse
