Dear GYA, I had a horrible day yesterday. It was Earth Day and there wasn't any smog in the air; people actually picked up trash and everyone was riding bikes. Gaah! It was gross and disturbing. I had to beat the crap out of my Captain Planet punching bag for an hour just to feel better.--- Anyways, anything happening today that won't set me into a fiery rage? -- Hoggish Greedly

Hoggish, I know how you feel. Like Christmas and New Year's Eve, Earth Day can be lonely holiday for people. Luckily, there are tons of stuff for you and the other eco-villains to do today.

If you can't decide on what to do this evening, why not ask a psychic? Renowned spiritual medium and healer George Woods is back by popular demand at Golden Braid Books at 6:30 p.m.. For a mere $125, you can have George tell you some general but useful information about yourself. Sounds like a great deal. Call ahead, these sessions sell out.

If you're a closet Buffy The Vampire fan or maybe you've seen a couple of Joss Whedon's films, you may want to gather up your Internet friends and head over to Devil's Daughter Bar & Grill for Masters of The Whedonverse. It's a full-on Joss Whedon trivia challenge that involves beer, nerds and cash prizes. Trivia starts 8 p.m. and there's a $5 entry fee per player.

If you're in the mood to shake your tail feather, then head over to Urban Lounge to see The Folka Dots, Hope and Tim With The Coral Copse and a bunch of other awesome local indie bands.  Doors open at 9 p.m. Check 'em out below:

Other worthwhile things to do:

- Check out The Sundance Film Festival: New Frontier Exhibit at The Utah Museum of Contemporary Art.

- Traditional, straight-up trivia at The Republican for Pub Quiz Night, beginning 9:30 p.m.

- The University of Utah Singers will be performing at Gardner Hall tonight at 7:30 p.m.
