Screen printing doesn't have to be intimidating. Let Craft Lake City and Copper Palate Press show you the way tonight. ---

Copper Palate Press (160 E. 200 S. Unit B) hosts a two-hour "Getting Down and Dirty With the Basics" of screen printing workshop tonight (May 21), 7 - 9 p.m., as part of Craft Lake City's bi-monthly series promoting DIY arts and crafts. Attendees get a chance to learn the fundamentals of screen-printing from Copper palate's resident artists, including burning a screen and creating one-color prints for posters. All ages are welcome, and materials fee is only $5 (but the first five to arrive get to workshop for free).
