Dear GYA, People love to throw around the term "jump the shark" whenever your career is about to be over. But mine ended years ago, so I have no problem doing cameos in movies like Jersey Shore Shark Attack. Oh, you haven't seen it? Yeah, it's a pretty good. However, no one sends me scripts anymore, so I got a lot of time on my hands. Anything good going down tonight? - Joey Fatone---

Joey, I don't get why you're not getting scripts. You've been in some really good movies, like Karaoke Battle USA and Beethoven's Big Break. Oh well, here's what's happening tonight:

Aron Ralston, the guy who went hiking in southern Utah, fell in a hole, sawed his arm off and landed a movie deal, will be appearing at Peery's Egyptian Theatre at 8 p.m. In collaboration with the Grassroots Outdoor Alliance, Ralston will be singing autographs and retelling his gnarly story. Seating is limited and tickets are going for $5.

The Rose Wagner Center will be hosting The 9th Annual Damn These Heels! Film Festival all day today. Stop by and check out 11 LGBT feature films from six different countries and one short film by local filmmakers Samantha Highsmith and Gabriella Huggins. Click the link for film titles and show times.

LGBT and pro-marijuana advocate Melissa Etheridge will be performing at Red Butte Gardens tonight at 7 p.m. If you've never heard of her, she's a Grammy award-winning singer known for door-defying jams like "Come To My Window." From what I understand, this song is actually about working at a Taco Bell drive-thru. But I'm not certain about this.

Other worthwhile events happening today:

- Canyon's Resort will be the site for the weekly Park City Farmers Market, beginning at 12 p.m.

- The Salt Lake Bees will be taking on the Tacoma Rainiers, starting at 7:05 p.m.

- Indie rockers Signal Path will be on stage at Kilby Court at 7 p.m.
