Utah Arts Festival 2012: Fear No Film Awards Winners

The just-wrapped Utah Arts Festival 2012 announced winners of awards in its various Fear No Film programs, including the "Utah Short Film of the Year."---

From the Utah Short Film of the Year program, Ali Barr's Life According to Penny (above) took the award voted on by attendees at the program's three Festival screenings Thursday - Saturday. A full list of winners follows of both jury and audience awards follows:

Grand Jury Best of Show: The Extraordinary Life of Rocky, Belgium
Grand Jury Honorable Mention: The Olláparo, Spain
Grand Jury Honorable Mention: Odokuro, New York
Grand Jury Honorable Mention: Because There Are Things You Never Forget, Spain
2012 Utah Short Film of the Year: Life According to Penny
Fear No Filmmaker Award: MIJO, Maryland
