Utah author Dan Wells launches his new novel tonight. Catch him before he's no longer "Utah author." ---

Wells' The Hollow City is a return to the supernatural/ psychological horror that marked his terrific I Am Not a Serial Killer trilogy, telling the story of a diagnosed schizophrenic who's linked to a series of killings, but may actually be on to something closer to the truth in his fantasies about horrible monsters. The reading and signing kick-off event for the book takes place tonight, July 3, at Weller Book Works, at 7 p.m.

It could also mark your last chance to see Wells for a while. As he announced on his website in March, Wells and his family are moving for a year-long stay in Germany. So, while you wait for Partials 2 or whatever other terrific work spills forth from his mind and word processor, wish him bon voyage, or whatever the German equivalent of "bon voyage" might be.
