Dear GYA, It doesn't surprise me that Creed's frontman Scott Stapp said he doesn't endorse President Obama. But I have a feeling Barack is taking this with arms wide open. Then again, maybe he's in his own prison. I suppose in the end Stapp just wants someone who can take him higher. Ehh, I'll see myself out.--- Anything happening today better than my Creed jokes? - Blake Derpenclop, Ogden

Blake, people have the right to express their opinions, and in Stapp's case, he's not a fan of Obama. That's cool -- all that matters is who gets the all-important Nickelback endorsement. Here's what's good tonight:

Guitar virtuoso Buckethead will be performing at In The Venue/Club Sound. The enigmatic shredder has collaborated with such high-profile acts as Guns N' Roses, Les Claypool, Iggy Pop and Bootsy Collins. He's also produced the song "Firebird" for the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The show starts at 7 p.m.

Post-punk bassist Mike Watt will be onstage at The Urban Lounge. Watt is considered one of the greatest bassists of all time and he co-founded such seminal bands as the Minutemen, dos and fIREHOSE. Lite is also on the bill.  The show starts at 9 p.m.

The Leonardo is housing the major exhibit Da Vinci: The Genius. This impressive exhibit brings Da Vinci's works from around the world to Salt Lake City, featuring over 200 pieces of art and 75 life-sized machine models, many of them interactive, along with much more.

A few more worthwhile events:

- The Big Shiny Pub Quiz will be going down at Lucky 13, beginning at 8 p.m.

- The Glendinning Mansion will be hosting the visual art exhibit Flare all day today.

- C2U Karaoke will be happening at Cheers To You Midvale, starting at 9 p.m.
