The last presidential debate is tonight, and while Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama will battle to have the last word on foreign policy, Democracy Now! is expanding the debate to allow third-party candidates to throw their own answers into the debate. Tuesday, you can check out a presidential debate of just the third-party candidates.---
Tonight, Romney and Obama rematch on all issues of foreign policy, from facing a nuclear Iran to the embassy attack in Libya to the Arab spring. But before you believe there are only two sides to a foreign-policy debate, you’ll also want to hear what Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein and Justice Party presidential candidate Rocky Anderson have to say, thanks to Democracy Now!’s “Expanding the Debate” program.
The show will air the presidential debate and pause the program after Obama and Romney have answered a question to allow Stein and Anderson answer the questions, as well. Tune in for a four-party foreign-policy debate tonight, Monday, Oct. 22, starting at 6:30 p.m. MDT, by streaming the event from Democracy Now!’s site here.
Tuesday, you won’t want to miss third-party candidates grapple with issues foreign and domestic in a special debate between Anderson of the Justice Party, the Green Party’s Stein, as well as Virgil Goode, presidential contender for the Constitution Party and Gary Johnson, presidential candidate for the Libertarian Party.
Listen to the true diversity of America’s political voices as these alternative contenders for the White House pitch their candidacies Tuesday, Oct. 23, 7 p.m. RSVP for free with the site Free and Equal here ($5 donations are appreciated but not required to hear the debate).
