Dear GYA, I'm extremely disappointed in the coverage of this year's election by the mainstream media. I mean, hell, not a single news network gave a lick of political analysis on Roseanne Barr and why she lost the presidential race! Her die-hard fans are still waiting for some answers. Well, in the meantime, anything happening tonight? - Roseanne Barr---

Rosanne, I wasn't aware you were running for president. I'm sure Utah would have voted for you had they known. Anyway, here are some decent options for this evening:

The bluegrass band Infamous Stringdusters will be onstage at The State Room. For the newest release, Silver Sky, the crew took an unorthodox approach to their "high country" sound and brought on Atlanta-based producer Billy Hume, known for his hip-hop production with groups like Ying Yang Twins, Lil Jon, Rehab and Ludacris. The result is a collection of great radio-friendly bluegrass jams. The show starts at 8 p.m.

Blue Boutique will be hosting Dr. Melissa Jones "The Mormon Sexologist" for a series of sex-education seminars. "Dr. Jones will present three seminars on sex and sexuality that were crafted specifically for Mormon women and married couples. These seminars will allow LDS members to talk about sex and sexuality in a religiously safe environment." For seminar tickets, times and locations, click here.

DJ Babu and Rakaa of the celebrated hip-hop trio Dilated Peoples will be at The Depot this evening. As part of the Expansion Team Soundsystem tour, the crew will be joined by former Jurassic 5 frontman Chali 2na and the Seattle-based rap collective Common Market. The doors open at 8 p.m.

A few more worthwhile events:

- Dixie State College will be showing the always hilarious musical Guys and Dolls at 7:30 p.m.

- Egyptian Theatre's musical parody Forbidden Broadway will be kicking off at 8 p.m.

- Stand-up comedian Bengt Washburn will on the mic at Wiseguys Comedy Trolley Square.
