Red Iguana Catering

Is there anybody who doesn't love The Red Iguana? If so, I've yet to meet them. The Red Iguana's "killer Mexican food" is a favorite, from local Salt Lakers to L.A.'s Los Lobos. But, did you know that The Red Iguana will cater your party or private affair? ---I didn't know that until this week.
My wife's business was throwing its annual holiday employee party and looking for someone to cater it. The problem was, they'd rented a chalet at Brighton for the bash and no one they contacted was willing to make the trek up to Brighton to cater the affair. Then, my wife thought, "What about The Red Iguana?" Well, BINGO!
Not only did The Red Iguana folks schlep up to Brighton with a van full of piping-hot food, but they did a bang-up job at a fraction of what you'd expect to pay per person for a catered affair.
They arrived with chips and fresh salsa, chile verde, warm corn and flour tortillas, three types of homemade tamales (chicken, cheese and pork), and three different moles (poblano, verde and amarillo), Mexican rice, refried beans, dinnerware and more -- all for 60 people at a price that was less per person than what the bill for 60 would have come to at one of The Red Iguana restaurants. I was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism of the delivery and setup crew, the high quality of the food and, as mentioned, the good value.
So, the next time you're craving Red Iguana grub and don't want to eat out, I recommend having them come to you.
