Dear GYA, Did you see that Iran shot a monkey into space? I have to admit, I am really impressed they duct-taped that little guy to a rocket and he actually came back. Those guys sure are making some huge advancements in science and technology. I mean, really, any day now they'll have the ability to rent and play The Matrix on VHS. Anything to do in SLC while we wait for more scientific leaps from Iran? - Frank Musturd, Provo

Frank, You're right. Based on the success of the Iranian space-monkey adventure, it's safe to say Iran is on the verge of a modern-day renaissance.  Here's what's up for today:

True TV & Brewvies will be showing a free TV double feature on the big screen. First, the latest episode of Justified at 8 p.m. then stick around for the FX comedy Archer at 9.

At the Salt Lake Community College South Campus, check out an Introduction to Chinese Chinese Healing Arts: T'ai Chi And Qi Gong.  Learn breathing techniques, proper posture/alignment, basic self-massage and warm-up exercises to improve balance, strengthen legs and prepare for beginning T'ai Chi. Tickets are $55.

Today is Tuesday, and that means tonight The Woodshed is hosting its popular Karaoke That Doesn't Suck. at 9. No cover; 21 and up.
