Pygmalion Theatre Company: Cheat

As the '12-'13 season started, Pygmalion Theatre Company kicked off its year with a favorite from a couple of years ago and saved the newer works for the second half. --- The first production on the bill will be Cheat, written by Julie Jensen, a period piece focusing on the end of World War II, when American culture was beginning to shift and women were starting to see their roles in society grow while also witnessing the end of a particular era in the late '40s.

Adoption Fraud Bill Hearing Gets Heated

It was hard going for Sen. Luz Robles, D-SLC,  in proposing a bill to get tough on fraudulent adoption agencies. One lawmaker questioned Robles’ witness so intensely that Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Mark Madsen, R-Eagle Mountain, had to warn against “badgering” witnesses.
