Dear GYA, I just found out that the costume designer behind Hunger Games: Catching Fire is releasing a high-end clothing line based on the movie. This is great news. Now, I'll finally be be able to let other people know I'm a huge fan of Hunger Games by wearing the authentic clothes and not just by my confusing flame beard. Anything happening today better than Hunger Games fashion? - Freddie Washturn, Orem---
Freddie, I wish more movies would do this. I'd rock the entire wardrobe from JUICE. Anyway, here's what's up for today:
It's the first day of the Utah State Fair at the Utah State Fairgrounds. For a full list of activities, including tonight's main events like Gov. Herbert's Favorite Muffin and the rodeo, check out the full list right here. Tickets are $10.
Electro-indie band MGMT will be performing at the final Twilight Concert Series tonight at Pioneer Park. Kuromo is also on the bill. Tickets are $5. Gates open at 5.
For some authentic Greek food and dancing, check out the Greek Festival tonight at the Greek Orthodox Church. The party starts at 5. Admission is $3.
